Happy Birthday Rock Star!

Here is a little card I made using Once upon a princess cartridge. I made this card for a little girl who loves music and tells me she wan't to be a star one day! The larger girl is cut out at 2" and the smaller one is 1" The wording is cut out at 1". My favorite part about this is her little outfit. However the smaller girls was so tiny and really hard to glue together. I am entering this is the "are you ready to rock challenge!"

Just Peachy

Here is a fun stair stepper card I made with peaches, since it's National peach week, I thought I should get in the peachy mood.  For this card I used "just because cards" the peaches are 1.75" and the Just Peachy sign is 2" for the sign I just used chipboard and covered in brown paper and then glued them to the back so it looks more like a sign.  Then I used my peachy Keen stamps to give them all cute little faces.

For the stair stepper card here are the dimensions.

Overall size is 12" Long by 6" wide then you score at 1.25", 2.5", 4.5" & 8.25" the fold mountain, valley, mountain, valley.  I sometimes have a hard time getting mine to stand up after I add all the stuff to it, so I take strips of chipboard and glue them to the underside it gives it good support.
Here is a side view of the card.

Now you can make your own stair stepper card.

Big Birthday Wishes

Girl Birthday Card
I always need easy fast Birthday cards for the little kids in my neighborhood that is full of little ones.  So when I can make quick and easy fast cards that is the best.  I found Car Decal Cartridge can do just that, it has so any easy, and by easy I mean not a lot of layers to the image but can still be cute.  Car Decals cartridge has a lot of people images, and really I just love the silly faces.  I made both of these cards in about 20 minutes.  I think most of the time was spent picking little kids and colors!  The cards are both 6 x 6 cards and both of the little people are cut out at 4". The word BIG is cut out from the same cartridge, I love the dots of the end of the letters.  WOW that's a lot of love from one cartridge.

Butterfly Card

I created this card using Create a Critter.  I didn't even know it had a butterfly on it.  I think this is one of the cuter butterfly's.  The butterfly is cut out at 1.25" along with all her parts.  I did cut the blackout of it and glued just the body and not the wings so that it has the three dimension look to it.  Then I used some self adhesvie jewels to the body.  For the paper I used Bazzill's new Worth Remembering Collection of single sheets.  They are super cute sheets of paper.  Cricut Direct is selling them in a pack with 18 different sheet variety you can get your here

Here is a side view so you can see the 3D look.

Splash

My boys were driving me crazy one night and we were working in the back yard, so I turned the sprinkler on and let them play in the water.  It's not on very high but they didn't care, I think they liked it better.
I made this simple little layout using create a critter for the splash wording (2") and everyday paper dolls for the elephants (3.75").  I cut a couple extra splash's out and cut off the water part for the elephant. I also used a small sharpie marker to highlight the details on the elephant so that he looked more realistic.

County Fair

This is a super cute layout that we made at our scrapbooking class.  It was a lot of fun and I didn't design it so I don't know the details.  I just thought it was super cute and would share it with you.  The theme was County Fair.  Here is a couple more photos of it up close

The fairs-wheel  and the cute little pig.  I love his googlie eye.

Here is the cute little bag we made, using a 12 x 12 sheet of paper. They also made the flower thing on the top, I think they really liked to make those, I found it kind of a pain it turned out way cute though.

And last we made this card to match everything else. It's really cute I love the floss we tied to the bottom. When it get backs in stock I will have to buy some and make some stuff of my own with it.  I hope you enjoyed seeing all the projects we made.

Holy Cow

This is a cow card I made for a Scrapbooking thing I went to (9 hours of scrapbooking) we were asked to make a project to share, and our theme was County Fair, so I made this cute little cow card.  To make this card I used Create a Critter  and my Gypsy of course. The cow is 5" then duplicate her and flip her on her head and welded them together so it folds.  Then created the different layers and glued her together.  I think she turned out way cute. And my little boy loves it and keeps stealing her and wants to color her pink.
